Boom Town Continuing Education with David Walker – Fraud 
Fraud comes in many forms. The world of cyber-crime is often called the new Wild West for countless reasons. It is one of the few crimes still on the rise. Cyber Criminals are often better trained than law enforcement offi cers. There are no borders in cyber space and laws are still being established. This course provides an in-depth look at privacy and E&O issues, basic cybercrime issues, identity theft and insurance issues, how to avoid identity theft, recovering from identity theft and examines loss scenarios when identity theft occurs.

David Walker, AAI, CIC, LIC, CRM, ARM, CAWC
David Walker has worked extensively in the insurance industry for decades both as an agency employee and owner of Hartland Insurance in Hartland, MI. Walker has worked both as an instructor in multiple insurance topics and more specifi cally agent’s errors and omissions coverage. He has also traveled teaching this subject in throughout the United States. David is an expert witness on insurance related matters. David served as Chair of the Big “I” and is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Michigan. He is involved in his community as a member or Rotary and the Tyrone Township Board of Trustees. Walker attended the University of Nebraska and he has been married to his lovely wife Barbara for 37 years. They welcomed a new grandchild this summer.
