| The VT Department of Economic Development has created the Business Emergency Gap Assistance Program (BEGAP). This $20 million grant program is for businesses and nonprofits that suffered physical damages from flooding dating back to July 7, 2023. Applicants must intend on restoring, reopening, and bringing their employees back to work as soon as possible and will utilize these grant funds for that purpose.

| As the rain inundates Vermont, VIAA was contacted by National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) to share a link for flood policyholders to submit claims, etc.
The link below is for flood insurance policyholders seeking information. NFIP will keep us apprised of other relevant information as it becomes available. VIAA reached out to the Department of Financial Regulation to offer any assistance in disseminating important information to the agent community.

VIAA is proud to share some exciting news about a member recognized at the Vermont State House!
The entire team at Royer Camp & Associated Insurance Inc. drove to the Vermont State House in Montpelier on March 22 to celebrate Edwin G. Camp from Derby, for his ongoing and tremendously successful, dedicated career in insurance.
The group began the day with a small luncheon at Sarducci's Restaurant and then moved on to the Vermont State Capital where we celebrated Ed for his dedication and years of service in the insurance industry. Representative Brian Smith presented Ed with a “Concurrent House Resolution" for his outstanding 58-year career in the Vermont Insurance Industry.
Ed joined Roland Royer in 1965 and continues today at Royer Camp & Associated Insurance Inc. located at 573 E Main Street in Newport. Current Owners of Royer Camp & Associated Insurance Inc., Annette Lantagne, Craig Barry, and Odessa Crowley couldn't be more proud or thankful for all Ed has done for the Agency and the team - he is “One of a Kind".
Ed is the most dedicated agent you will ever encounter, and he will do everything possible for his insured. Congratulations to Ed for this recognition!
