With a variety of programs to choose from, you should have no problem finding a course to meeting your new hiring needs. On average each course within a curriculum is 30-40 minuties in length.  Once purchased, each package provides access to the curriculum for four months.

Preparing for State Licensure

Preparing for and passing the state licensing exam is not easy. It takes education and preparation to be successful. A VIAA, we offer different options to help, based on your needs and timing. 

NEW!   Remotely Proctored Licensing Exams now available in Vermont 

The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation and Prometric are pleased to announce the availability of the Vermont Insurance exams via Remotely Proctored testing using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application.  

You may schedule remotely proctored for your Vermont Insurance exams. To schedule, candidates should the contact the Prometric Contact Center using the state’s toll-free number 800.868.6113 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. (Eastern time), Monday through Friday.  At the end of the call, you will receive a confirmation number for your appointment and will receive an email confirmation with instructions. Record and keep this confirmation number for your records as you will need it to launch your exam.  

Annual Property & Casualty Exam Prep School

VIAA offers a three day Pre-Licensing School for the Property & Casualty Producer License Exam. It is offered annually and provides a hands on review of what's most important in the exam. We are glad to hold the pre-licensing school on other dates throughout the year upon request. A minimum of ten students is required to hold the course.
